Jordan Michael Peterson
Raised in the great state of of Nebraska Jordan developed a love of music at an early age.
Music was always an important component of the Peterson household. Jordan’s musical interests were influenced early by rides in his father’s 1962 Thunderbird and the sounds coming from the 8-Track player. Jordan developed a love of funk music listening to such bands as Earth Wind and Fire and the Commodores. He took to the piano early as his mother had him take piano lessons with a local teacher, which he quickly outgrew. To keep pace with Jordan’s accelerated learning, his parents made weekly two-hour trips to Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa. It was here that Jordan started to shine. Jordan has performed with the likes of Oscar and Tony Award nominee, Liz Callaway and Tony Award winner, Alice Ripley. Jordan was also recommended by Liz Callaway and performed as Tom Wopat's accompanist on his "54 Below" performance on the Celebrity Summit cruise ship. Recently Jordan has been performing on cruise ships to standing room only crowds nightly. He has just released his new CD, “Jordan Micheal Peterson,” and he continues to gain new fans with each and every cruise performance. His down-to-earth personality and his ability to connect with the audience continue to make him a popular entertainer an any cruise ship he is on. |
